Michael has been working for us for several years now, first replanting the flowerbeds to include lots more flowers throughout the year and then helping us to manage a wildflower meadow and make our pond more wildlife-friendly - we didn’t realise how wrong we’d got it! When he comes to check on things it’s simply amazing how he can name all of the wildflowers, birds and insects. Michael provided us with beautiful drawings of the redesign of our garden. When redesigning, he took into account the flowers and colour scheme that we liked and the level of work that we could do in the garden. Our garden has been flourishing for four years and gives us joy on a daily basis. A few years ago, Michael helped us to create a pond in our wildlife garden. He was very professional, hardworking (in all weathers), and so full of ideas and advice. His knowledge of plants and all creatures of the earth is extensive. It made me want to test him all the time! With his help, we now have a wonderful oasis in the garden with a pond, hibernaculum and planting where we enjoy watching the wildlife thriving, especially the dragonflies in the summer. When Michael first came to look at my empty garden we sat, drank pots of coffee and got to know each other. He encouraged me to talk about everything I liked and disliked and by the end of the meeting we had put together a plan. Later he emailed me with a painting of how he envisaged our garden would look. I naturally I hired him and, from that day forward, Michael became my best friend. He truly is an amazing listener and communicator. My knowledge of gardening was very limited until I met Michael.
